Products - Xi Wall

The Xi is our newest and most advanced wall. Provided with more than double the insulation, the Xi has 2.5 inches of continuous DOW ® Styrofoam for superior warmth and energy efficiency. Nearly everything is insulated in the Xi, including corners, studs, and bond beams. Special engineering makes the wall thermally isolated and insulated from the exterior elements. The new wall is monolithically poured (poured all at once) with high-strength concrete for solid structural integrity, and reinforced with steel rebar and polypropylene fibers.

The Xi wall's special high strength, low-water concrete mix also requires no additional damp proofing, benefiting from technology developed for the original R-5. And the Xi meets or exceeds energy conservation requirements from both the IECC and the IRC in most climates. The Xi has a striking modern look before drywall installation, due to the galvanized steel stud facings that have replaced treated wood nailers. The high-tech engineering and numerous advanced features of the Xi make it the foundation of the future, and the only choice for discriminating homeowners.

Each Xi Wall is custom manufactured and designed, complete with built-in openings for windows and doors. Superior Walls also feature easy conversion to finished living space. In addition to being pre-insulated, the walls have smart stud facings for easy drywall insulation and pre-engineered access for wiring or small plumbing. As always, factory precast technology allows Xi builders to continue installing custom foundations in virtually any weather. Weaver Precast builder customers are able to build in even the coldest weather when competitors are forced to suspend operations.

Standard wall heights for the Xi product include 10’, 9’, and 8’2”. Other sizes are available upon request.

Products - R5 Wall

The R-5 is the original Superior Wall that revolutionized new home foundations across the country. Builders and homeowners alike trust the R-5 to keep their basements warm and dry through the harshest conditions. The original Superior Wall is designed to be warm right from the factory, and is provided with 1 inch of continuous DOW® insulation for year-round comfort and energy efficiency. The special high-strength, low-water concrete mix ensures that your basement remains dry, and the wall is reinforced with steel rebar and polypropylene fibers for strength.

Convenient features include built-in accesses for wiring and small plumbing, insulated galvanized stud facing, and custom openings for windows and doors. The R-5 wall has been proven superior by numerous scientific tests, and has been the foundation of choice for satisfied new homeowners across the country for energy efficient homes. Installation

The Superior Walls System installs much like and shares many precepts of pressure-treated wood foundations - but we believe it provides much greater structural longevity. The panels are set on a bed of compacted stone which serves as a bearing layer as well as a drainage control system under the foundation. Once in place, the panels are bolted together at the top and bottom and sealed with a gun-applied adhesive-sealant. The owner/builder then pours the floor slab inside the wall system.

Custom Manufactured for Total Flexibility

Each Superior Walls foundation system is individually manufactured. Design guidelines and blueprint specifications are closely followed to create each wall panel, making each basement unique. After a trained designer completes the initial drawings, they are reviewed and sent to the builder for final authorization. Only after every detail is approved, does the order move into the manufacturing process.

Products - Ui Wall

Weaver Precast has added the Ui Wall product to our line well-known line of Superior Walls residential precast products. The Ui Wall is an uninsulated, four-foot high precast concrete foundation that is designed for use under residential construction garages and porches.

The wall is L-shaped which creates stability. It is 10-1/4-inches wide at the bottom and four-inches wide at the top. They are best applied in parts of the home that do not require insulation and will not be accessed, such as an unconditioned crawl space or below a garage or porch.

The Ui Wall is a low-cost alternative to poured concrete or concrete blocks. When used in conjunction with the Xi or R-5 wall panels, the entire foundation can be installed in less than a day.

Products - AG Wall

Superior Walls AG are insulated precast concrete walls for above-grade application that are manufactured at our plant facility in Ephrata, PA. They can be used in conjunction with foundation panels and stacked to create multiple stories as a part of a complete wall system building solution. After offering the product in our Florida operation for over 15 years, we are excited to offer this product to our customers. With a wide range of use, we can now offer above-grade solutions to both commercial and residential needs.

They can be set in just a few short days with a small crew and they’re manufactured on a casting bed which allows for many sizes and shapes to meet your needs. This pre-insulated product saves money, reduces the number of vendors and causes minimal job disturbance. In addition to the AG walls, we’ve also added solid concrete panels, called Precast Tilt Up (PCTU), and insulated concrete sandwich walls.
